Craig Bennett - Newest Member of Team Boss Bearing!

Welcome the newest member of our Team!
Craig Bennett started racing when he was 14 years old. He gives his Dad credit for pushing him to be a better racer by being his mentor and giving him constructive and technical feedback. He raced consistently for three race seasons in the Yamaha Dealer Series but had to put his racing career on hiatus while he was in college due to an overwhelming schedule.
In 2014 he graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been working for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena where the 23-year-old works as a Mechanical Engineer designing aircraft and spacecraft components.  He has been training hard in the past year and says:
“Even though the competition in the Pro-Am class was very light, I did happen to have a different racer show up to pretty much every round. Each race was a new battle for the top position and I gained a lot of riding experience to always have to adapt to new riding styles, instead of battling the same few racers on different tracks over and over.“
His personal goal is to race as a local Pro in California and to be a role model for other racers and spectators.
